St. Cloud Police Hunt Stabbing Suspect After Woman Critically Injured

On Sunday morning, a woman was critically injured in a stabbing incident at the 400 block of 19th 1/2 Avenue North in St. Cloud. Police responded around 9:40 a.m., provided medical assistance at the scene, and transported the victim to St. Cloud Hospital where she remains in critical condition. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old George Washington Harris, who has a criminal history including domestic assault and narcotics violations, remains at large. Authorities confirmed that the victim and suspect knew each other and used K9 units in a search which was unsuccessful. The St. Cloud Police Department has probable cause to arrest Harris and urges anyone with information to contact them, warning the public not to approach the suspect. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to seek the suspect's whereabouts.
