Omar Apollo in 'Queer' movie

Omar Apollo is set to make his acting debut in Luca Guadagnino's film 'Queer,' which is an adaptation of William S. Burroughs' 1985 novel. The film, featuring Daniel Craig as an American expatriate and Drew Starkey as his younger love interest, explores themes of sexuality and drug use in 1940s Mexico City. Apollo, known for his successful music career, expressed excitement about joining the 'hot ass cast' and working with Guadagnino, whom he admires. The movie, which also includes notable actors like Jason Schwartzman and Lesley Manville, will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September.
