North Carolina Man Charged with Attempted Murder

Miles Shunte Ramseur, a 43-year-old man from Lawndale, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder following an incident at a Speedway gas station in Hickory, North Carolina, on November 21. Police reported that Ramseur intentionally rammed his Chevrolet Traverse into a silver Honda, which then struck the building. The incident, deemed domestic-related, occurred around 8:15 a.m., and Ramseur fled the scene but was arrested later that afternoon. He faces multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run, though no serious injuries were reported. The police are continuing their investigation and have urged anyone with information to come forward. Ramseur is currently being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail.
