Two New York Men Charged with Extensive Child Sexual Abuse Material Possession

Two men in New York state face serious felony charges related to child sexual abuse materials following investigations by local law enforcement and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Wanderson Jiminez-Pinto, 18, from Southeast, was arrested after a search warrant executed in October revealed numerous images on multiple electronic devices; he faces nine counts each of promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child and was held on $10,000 bond. Meanwhile, 29-year-old Toren R. Gray from Otsego County was charged with over 196 counts, including obscenity and possession of child sexual abuse materials, after authorities found more than 300 images and evidence he disseminated such material via social media. Both cases remain under active investigation with additional charges possible. These arrests highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat the distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material in New York. The individuals are being held in county correctional facilities pending further legal proceedings.
