Bradford Council Approves Drive-Thru Coffee Shop Plans

Several new drive-through coffee shop projects are underway in different locations, albeit facing various challenges. Meanwhile, in Portsmouth, the construction of a new Costa coffee drive-through is progressing, promising to create 15 full-time jobs. In Ben Rhydding, the Bradford Council approved plans for a drive-through café despite significant local opposition, with over 160 residents objecting due to traffic concerns; the project aims to create 25 full-time jobs. The proposed café will replace the Original Factory Shop and is seen as a means for investment and regeneration in the area. Planning officials argue that the new shop will mainly attract passing trade rather than generate additional traffic.
