Labour MP Chris Webb was mugged by a group of masked individuals on bikes while returning to his London flat around 9:55pm, during which his phone was stolen, though he was unharmed. Webb expressed gratitude for the swift response of the Metropolitan Police, who are continuing their investigation. The MP, who was elected to represent Blackpool South in May, does not believe he was targeted due to his political position. Despite being without his phone, Webb can be contacted through his office. Police are appealing for any information regarding the robbery.
