Budapest Christmas Markets Open for Visitors

The Budapest Christmas markets opened on November 15, featuring iconic locations like St. Stephen’s Basilica and Vörösmarty Square, known for their festive atmosphere and artisan offerings. While these markets are highly regarded internationally, local Hungarians may find prices steep, as dishes range from €5.70 for lángos to €22 for goose legs, making them more suited for tourists with higher budgets. In contrast, Liverpool's Christmas markets will run from November 16 to December 24, showcasing diverse food options, crafts, and entertainment, including popular bars and winter rides. Similarly, the Bucharest Christmas Fair will commence on November 29, boasting over 130 huts and a variety of cultural performances, with free admission. Whiteley Shopping Centre will host its own markets, featuring festive flavors and extended shopping hours from November 28 to December 19.
