The Toronto Raptors opened the 2024–25 season with a 138–118 road win over the Atlanta Hawks, producing the highest point total in a franchise opener and, per Sporting News, the largest margin of victory in a season opener. RJ Barrett led Toronto with 25 points, Scottie Barnes had 22 points and nine assists, Gradey Dick scored 19 off the bench, and Brandon Ingram added 16 points and nine rebounds in his Raptors debut.
