Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Dom Spinelli as the Head of Transactional Insurance Claims for North America, where he will oversee the claims function within the Alternative Asset Insurance Solutions division. Spinelli, based in Boston, brings over 15 years of experience in insurance and litigation, including his previous role as head of contingent and litigation risk at VALE Insurance Partners. He is recognized for his unique perspective, having senior-level experience on both underwriting and claims sides, which enhances Willis's capabilities in managing complex transactional insurance claims. His responsibilities include managing claims related to representations and warranties, tax, and contingent matters. Simone Bonnet, head of transactional insurance solutions at Willis, emphasized Spinelli's extensive experience will be invaluable in guiding clients through challenging aspects of transactional insurance. This appointment follows Willis's recent hiring of Jody Yee as head of alternative risk transfer solutions in the Americas.
