The couple has submitted their marriage application to the prison, hoping for approval by December 12. Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is also pursuing an appeal against his conviction for a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin. He has previously been married twice, including a tumultuous relationship with Dillon Passage, from whom he divorced earlier this year. Despite the challenges they face, Exotic remains optimistic about their future together and has requested a presidential pardon for himself and asylum for Marquez.
