Jason Isbell Releases Title Track 'Foxes In The Snow' Ahead of March Album

Jason Isbell has released the title track from his upcoming solo acoustic album, Foxes in the Snow, set for March 7 via Southeastern Records. The album, recorded in just five days at Electric Lady Studios, showcases Isbell's virtuosic guitar playing and evocative storytelling, entirely on a 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar. This project marks Isbell's first solo work since 2015 and is a departure from his typical collaboration with the band The 400 Unit. The title track, described as a simple yet bluesy love song, follows the earlier single 'Bury Me.' Isbell's upcoming solo tour kicks off on February 15 in Chicago, featuring multiple stops across the U.S. This release continues to highlight Isbell's significant contributions to the Americana genre, reinforcing his reputation as a leading songwriter of his generation.
