The agency shared footage of the bear, which has amassed significant online attention, including over 548,000 views on X, highlighting his impressive size and feeding habits. As bears enter the hyperphagia phase before hibernation, this bear is reportedly consuming around 20,000 calories daily, preparing for the winter months. CPW noted the bear's unusual girth with playful remarks about his eating habits, prompting questions about how much more he plans to consume before denning. This sighting adds to a series of notable bear observations in the area as winter approaches.
