Dell Deploys Nvidia Blackwell Ultra AI Supercomputers at CoreWeave

Dell has delivered the industry's first systems based on Nvidia's GB300 NVL72 platform to CoreWeave, an AI cloud service provider, marking a significant milestone in AI infrastructure deployment. These systems, equipped with 72 Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs, 36 Arm-based 72-core Grace CPUs, and 36 BlueField DPUs per rack, are liquid-cooled to handle extreme power consumption and deliver unprecedented training and inference performance. CoreWeave, competing with major cloud providers and counting OpenAI among its customers, aims to leverage the new technology to develop larger and faster AI models. Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the scale and complexity involved in producing these supercomputers, describing the Grace Blackwell systems as a technological miracle and emphasizing their mass production at an unprecedented scale.
