Eimear Considine, the 33-year-old Irish rugby international, has announced her retirement after a remarkable 10-year career. Initially a camogie and Gaelic football player, she switched to rugby at 23, joining the Ireland Sevens team before making her XVs debut in 2017. Despite facing significant challenges, including ACL injuries and the birth of her son in 2023, Considine made a triumphant return to the international stage during Ireland's recent WXV campaign, where she earned 25 caps and scored in key matches.
