Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ontario, claimed her second CPKC Women’s Open title with a final-round 4-under 67 at the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club, narrowly defeating Australia's Minjee Lee by one stroke. Henderson's strong finish, including a 3-under performance on the last six holes, secured her 14th LPGA Tour victory and marked her first win since January 2023. She and Lee had shared the lead entering the final round at 11-under par, both having posted impressive third-round scores—Henderson shot a 6-under 65 and Lee a 5-under 66. The tournament also highlighted rising Canadian talent, 15-year-old amateur Aphrodite Deng from Calgary, who made a notable impact by shooting 5-under 66 on the first day and finishing tied for 21st after consistent performances.
