Vijayta Pandit recently opened up about her romance with co-star Kumar Gaurav during the filming of their 1981 film, Love Story, revealing that their love faced significant opposition from Gaurav's father, Rajendra Kumar. The elder Kumar, a successful actor and producer, expressed disapproval of their relationship, leading to an arranged engagement for Gaurav with Reema Kapoor, daughter of Raj Kapoor. Vijayta recounted heated arguments between Gaurav and his father, where Rajendra insisted that Gaurav deserved a 'princess' and should focus on his career instead of romance.
