Scrubs Revival Premiere Set for Feb. 25, 2026

ABC confirmed the Scrubs revival is scheduled to premiere midseason on Feb. 25, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. ET with two back-to-back episodes, and episodes will be available on Hulu the next day. The series reunites original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley and was given a straight-to-series order by ABC. Creator Bill Lawrence remains an executive producer; Zach Braff directed the first episode. Co-showrunner Tim Hobert stepped down citing creative differences and Aseem Batra has assumed sole showrunning duties while Hobert retains executive-producer credit on the initial episodes. Production began in Vancouver in early October, has completed a first table read and is about to shoot its third episode, and the revival aims to marry nostalgia with new medical and character developments centered on JD and Turk.
