Mercury Rally Past Lynx, Tie Semifinals 1-1

The Phoenix Mercury rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat top-seeded Minnesota Lynx 89-83 in overtime in Game 2 of the WNBA semifinals, tying the series 1-1. Sami Whitcomb hit a game-tying 3 with 4.3 seconds left and Napheesa Collier’s buzzer attempt missed; Phoenix closed it out in overtime behind Satou Sabally’s 24 points and Alyssa Thomas’s 19 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds.
