A dark-colored Toyota pickup truck struck a silver Hyundai, and after examining the damage, the driver fled the scene northbound on Brayton Avenue. The Hyundai driver sustained moderate, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male, either White or Hispanic, with brown hair and a beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored pajama pants, and light-colored 'Croc'-style shoes. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Collision Investigation Detail at 562-570-7355 or submit anonymous tips through LA Crime Stoppers. Images of the suspect and the truck have been released to aid in the investigation.
