The Wheel of Time Season 3 Cast Announced

Prime Video's The Wheel of Time has announced its cast for Season 3, set to premiere on March 15, 2025, featuring Olivia Williams as Queen Morgase Trakand, Callum Kerr as her son Lord Gawyn, Luke Fetherston as Gawyn's half-brother Lord Galad, and Nuno Lopes as Lord Gaebril, Morgase's consort. The royal family of Andor, depicted as the largest and most influential kingdom in the series, will play a central role in the new season. Morgase, who gained her throne through a brutal struggle, is dedicated to protecting her daughter Elayne, the rightful heir. Gawyn, while being the firstborn, does not inherit the throne due to Andor's matriarchal system, which elevates Elayne's position. The new cast joins previously announced Shohreh Aghdashloo, who will portray the powerful Aes Sedai Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan. With the introduction of House Trakand, the series continues to expand its rich character tapestry and political intrigue within the story.
