Amber Alert Issued for Missing North Carolina Girls

An Amber Alert has been issued for two missing children from Haywood County, North Carolina: 12-year-old Alazay Shelby Rose and 3-year-old Kinley Maelena Stepp. The children were reported missing after being taken from their home at 99 Ben Medford Drive in Waynesville and are believed to be with 46-year-old Jacob Grant Aaron Stepp. Alazay is described as approximately 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes, while Kinley is about 3 feet tall, weighing 45 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The suspect is driving a white 2016 Dodge Challenger with black racing stripes and a fictitious North Carolina license plate number KMC5951. Authorities suspect they may be in the Cherokee Tribal area and are urging anyone with information to contact the Haywood County Sheriff's Office or call 911 immediately.
