Jet2 Allows Free Travel for Under-Twos Across Europe, Canaries, Mediterranean
Jet2 has introduced a family-friendly policy allowing children under two years old to travel for free on all new bookings, whether on package holidays with Jet2holidays or seat-only flights. This makes Jet2 the only UK airline to waive fees for under-twos traveling to destinations across Europe, the Canaries, and the Mediterranean. Additionally, the airline has updated its baggage policy to allow families to check in up to two items of child or infant equipment free of charge, such as pushchairs, car seats, and travel cots, without the 10kg weight limit applying to these items. Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy emphasized that these changes aim to make travel more accessible and improve the experience for families. The policy applies to bookings made from August 22, 2025, with the child needing to be under two at the time of travel. These enhancements reflect Jet2's commitment to supporting families and are effective immediately.
