Louis Vuitton Robbery Suspect Leads Multi-Agency Chase, Crashes Houston Vehicles

Authorities arrested Jontravous Jones, 24, from Atlanta, Georgia, following a robbery at a Louis Vuitton store in The Woodlands, Texas, that led to a high-speed police chase into Houston. An off-duty Harris County deputy witnessed the robbery and identified Jones driving a white Ford F-150 pickup truck with Home Depot markings. Jones fled from Montgomery County deputies near I-45 and engaged in a pursuit that caused multiple collisions, including a crash at the North Freeway and Yale Street involving two vehicles and a METRO bus, resulting in several injuries. After abandoning his vehicle, Jones was apprehended on foot, treated for injuries at a Houston hospital, and then booked into Montgomery County Jail on charges of robbery and evading arrest.
