20th Century Studios Releases Trailer for Bruce Springsteen Nebraska Film
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is a new film starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, focusing on the making of Springsteen's 1982 album Nebraska, which marked a pivotal and introspective period in his career. Rather than a traditional biopic, the film explores the intimate and vulnerable moments of Springsteen's life as he chose artistic truth over commercial success, recording the album largely alone in his New Jersey bedroom. Directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zanes’ book, the movie highlights the emotional honesty and personal difficulties Springsteen experienced during this time. The film also features notable cast members including Jeremy Strong as Springsteen's manager Jon Landau and Stephen Graham as his father. Praised for its quiet intensity, the movie received positive reception at the Telluride Film Festival and holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It is set to open in theaters on October 24 and will be the opening night film at AFI FEST.
