Honda Unveils 0 Series Electric Vehicles at CES

Honda is making a significant shift toward battery electric vehicles (BEVs) with its new 0 Series, showcased at CES 2025, which includes the Honda 0 SUV and 0 Saloon. These vehicles, set for production in Ohio starting in 2026, feature advanced autonomous driving capabilities and a new Asimo operating system that integrates AI for enhanced personalization and driving experience. Honda aims to establish leadership in Level 3 automated driving, allowing drivers to take their eyes off the road. The company is moving away from its previous reliance on GM's Ultium platform, marking a strategic pivot to develop its own in-house EV technology. This pivot comes after the successful launch of the Honda Prologue, which was developed in collaboration with GM but will be succeeded by Honda's self-developed models.
