2025 Tour de France to be Held Entirely in France

The 2025 Tour de France will take place exclusively in France, beginning on July 5 in Lille and concluding on July 27 with the Champs-Elysees finale in Paris, celebrating 50 years since its first finish there. This edition includes 21 stages, with two time trials and climbs such as Mont Ventoux and the Col de la Loze, aiming for fewer sprint stages and more mountain-top finishes. Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard are expected to be key contenders. The women's Tour de France will feature nine stages, starting on July 26 in Vannes and ending in the Alps. This marks a return to a traditional race design with both Tours running entirely in France for the first time in five years.
