Two Colombians Killed by Mexican National Guard

Mexico's National Guard fatally shot two Colombians and wounded four others near Tecate, close to the U.S. border, in a confrontation described by the Defense Department. The victims were reportedly migrants according to Colombia's foreign ministry, though the Defense Department did not confirm this, with one survivor handed to immigration officials, suggesting they might have been migrants. This incident marks the second time in just over a month that Mexican military forces have opened fire on migrants, following a previous fatal shooting in Chiapas.
