Shelbourne Signs Republic of Ireland U21 Winger Sean Moore from West Ham

Shelbourne FC has secured the signing of 19-year-old winger Sean Moore from West Ham United on a multi-year deal, pending international clearance. Moore, who joined West Ham from Cliftonville in 2023, has impressed with his performances for West Ham’s U21 development squad and as a Republic of Ireland U21 international. He was named in the NIFL Premiership Team of the Year and won the NI Football Writers' Association Young Player of the Year award during his time at Cliftonville. Shelbourne manager Joey O'Brien praised Moore as a versatile and exciting player with huge potential, capable of playing multiple positions on both wings. Technical Director Luke Byrne expressed enthusiasm about developing Moore’s talent, emphasizing the club’s focus on young Irish players. Shelbourne had previously attempted to secure Moore on loan before finalizing the permanent transfer.
