Brewers Overhaul Roster, Sign Elvin Rodriguez

The Milwaukee Brewers are making significant roster changes this offseason, including the loss of key players such as Willy Adames and Devin Williams. Adames signed a seven-year, $182 million contract with the San Francisco Giants, while Williams was traded to the New York Yankees. To address these gaps, the Brewers are considering free agents like Kirby Yates, a veteran closer with a strong track record. Additionally, the Brewers signed 26-year-old pitcher Elvin Rodriguez to a one-year deal with a club option for 2026. Rodriguez, who played in Japan last season, brings a promising 1.80 ERA from his time with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. The team also released right-hander JB Bukauskas to make room for Rodriguez on their roster.
