Brewers Sign Elvin Rodriguez, Designate Bukauskas

The Milwaukee Brewers have signed right-handed pitcher Elvin Rodriguez to a one-year contract with a club option for 2026. Rodriguez, 26, had a successful season in Japan with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, posting a 1.80 ERA over 32 games. His prior Major League experience includes appearances for the Detroit Tigers and the Tampa Bay Rays, where he struggled with an overall 0-4 record and 9.55 ERA. The Brewers made room for Rodriguez on their 40-man roster by designating JB Bukauskas for assignment.
