JuJu Watkins Reaches 1,000 Career Points

USC's JuJu Watkins made history by reaching 1,000 career points during the Trojans' 81-50 victory over Santa Clara, achieving the milestone in just 38 games, making her the fourth fastest in NCAA Division I history. She scored her 1,000th point with a jumper in the third quarter, finishing the game with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Watkins's accomplishment comes two games quicker than Iowa's Caitlin Clark, who previously held the record for reaching the milestone in 40 games. The Trojans are off to a strong 4-0 start this season, averaging 94 points per game and boasting an impressive average victory margin of 47.3 points.
