Nicolas Cage to Star in Spider-Noir Series

Amazon and MGM+ revealed the first look at Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir in the upcoming live-action series 'Spider-Noir,' set for release in 2026. Cage stars as an aging private investigator in 1930s New York City, confronting his past as the city's only superhero. The show will be available in both black-and-white and color formats and features a cast including Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Jack Huston. It is developed by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal as executive producers, and Harry Bradbeer directing the first two episodes. Cage previously voiced the character in 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,' and this series marks Spider-Man Noir's live-action debut. The series will premiere first on MGM+ in the US, followed by a global release on Prime Video.
