Nine US Teens Arrested for Disrupting UK Flight

Nine American teenagers, aged 17 and 18 and reportedly from wealthy families, were arrested at Heathrow Airport after causing a major disturbance on a Virgin Atlantic flight from Los Angeles to London. The teens used fake IDs to purchase alcohol before boarding, consumed it during the flight, and behaved loudly and unruly, prompting the pilots to alert authorities before landing. Upon arrival, all were arrested on suspicion of failing to comply with crew instructions and endangering the aircraft, had their travel authorisations revoked, and spent the night in police custody. Virgin Atlantic initially refused to fly the group home together but ultimately separated them onto different flights back to the US, notifying their parents, some of whom are notable figures.
