Football Programs Enhance Coaching Staff for 2025 Season

The Washington Commanders have bolstered their coaching staff for the upcoming 2025 season by hiring NFL legend Wes Welker as their new wide receivers coach. Welker, who has a notable history as a player and coach, will work closely with young quarterback Jayden Daniels and has previously coached standout receiver Deebo Samuel. In the college football realm, Chadron State football has also announced the hiring of two new coaching assistants, DeMarcus Felton for running backs and Lorenzo Neal for the defensive line, as they prepare for their season. Felton brings experience from his coaching role at Dekaney High School in Texas, while Neal has a background as a team captain at Purdue and experience in NFL training camps. Additionally, Florida State's new defensive coordinator Tony White has been highlighted as a key assistant to watch as he transitions from Nebraska to improve the Seminoles' struggling defense. Oregon State University has added several new coaches, including Pat McCann as the new wide receivers coach, following the departure of former interim head coach Kefense Hynson.
