The Pogues Announce 2025 UK Tour

The Pogues have announced their first UK tour in over a decade, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their iconic album 'Rum Sodomy & the Lash'. Scheduled for May 2025, the tour will feature founding members Spider Stacy, James Fearnley, and Jem Finer, alongside special guests, performing the album in its entirety across cities including Leeds, Birmingham, London, and Newcastle. This tour marks their first live shows since the death of frontman Shane MacGowan in November 2023, and their first headline tour since 2014. The band expressed excitement about revisiting their celebrated work following a successful 40th anniversary celebration of their debut album. Tickets will go on general sale on November 22, with a pre-sale available earlier for fans. The Pogues hope to honor their legacy while bringing the energy of their music back to the stage.
