Bank of America launches nationwide $5 golf initiative for youth

Bank of America has launched a nationwide 'Golf With Us' initiative in partnership with Youth on Course, offering children aged 6 to 18 access to rounds of golf for $5 or less at thousands of courses across the country, including locations in Philadelphia, Michigan, San Antonio, and Amarillo. The program aims to make golf more accessible for youth, fostering skills such as confidence, resilience, and perseverance, while encouraging fun and inclusivity regardless of experience level. Young participants receive a free one-year Youth on Course membership, which grants discounted rounds at participating courses and includes a registered handicap index in the USGA’s Golf Handicap Information Network system. Community leaders and Bank of America officials describe the initiative as both an investment in youth development and a way to grow the next generation of golfers. Enrollment is open until May 24 or until all available spots are filled, with local course lists varying by region. The program is presented as a means to empower children and positively impact communities through the sport of golf.
