Orange County deputy stabbed in San Clemente, suspect at large
An Orange County Sheriff's deputy was stabbed in the neck while patrolling in San Clemente on Tuesday afternoon, but her injuries are not life-threatening. The incident occurred near Avenida Pico and Calle de Los Molinos, prompting a manhunt for the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, approximately 5'10" tall and weighing 160-164 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and dark pants, fleeing toward a storm drain at Avenida Pico and El Camino Real. Nearby San Clemente High School and Las Palmas Elementary School were placed on lockdown as a precaution. Authorities are urging anyone who sees the suspect to call 911 immediately.
