Jhonatan Narvaez Wins Tour Down Under

Ecuadorian cyclist Jhonatan Narvaez of UAE Team Emirates claimed his first Tour Down Under title, finishing nine seconds ahead of Movistar's Javier Romo. Narvaez secured the ochre jersey after an impressive victory on the penultimate queen stage at Willunga Hill, allowing him to maintain his lead despite challenges, including crashes in the final stage. Romo, who initially took a solo win on stage three, ended up in second place overall. Australian Sam Welsford dominated the sprinters, winning three stages, including the final 90-km stage in Adelaide. Narvaez's victory marks a significant achievement as he began his first season with UAE Team Emirates after moving from Ineos Grenadiers.
