Three Teens Injured in Detroit Drive-by Shooting
Three teenagers, aged 15, 16, and 17, were shot in a drive-by incident in Detroit on Thursday night, believed to be retaliatory for an earlier fistfight involving the teens. The shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m. near Puritan Avenue and Wisconsin Street when a silver sedan drove up and someone inside opened fire. All victims were hospitalized but are expected to survive their injuries. Detroit Police Chief James White emphasized that the incident appears isolated to the earlier altercation and there is no broader threat to the community. Police responded swiftly and are confident in solving the case, urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers. The investigation is ongoing as police review available surveillance footage and interview witnesses.
