135th Rose Parade Celebrates World of Music

The 135th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena took place on January 1, 2024, featuring magnificent displays of floral floats, marching bands, and equestrian units. The event commenced with an 'Opening Spectacular' performance featuring numerous artists, including grand marshal Audra McDonald. The parade included a diverse array of nearly 20 marching bands, 18 equestrian units, and many other visually striking floats. The San Diego Zoo's 'It All Started With a Roar' float claimed the prestigious 2024 Sweepstakes Trophy. The parade featured Broadway legend Audra McDonald as grand marshal and the theme 'Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language.'
