Perry, who passed away in October 2023 at age 54 due to acute effects of ketamine, was reportedly clean for 19 months prior to his death but was undergoing ketamine therapy at the time. It is noted that the ketamine found in his system could not have originated from the therapy due to the drug's short half-life. Following his death, five individuals have been charged in connection with supplying drugs to Perry. The property, believed to be his last purchase, has drawn attention due to its association with the late actor and the circumstances surrounding his death.
