Kevin van Veen, a striker for St Mirren, has appeared in court facing serious charges of domestic abuse against his ex-girlfriend. Allegations include physical violence, psychological control, and various forms of harassment, with incidents reportedly occurring over a three-year period. Van Veen is accused of pushing his pregnant ex-partner off a bed, locking her in his home, and forcing her to undress during arguments. He entered no plea at Hamilton Sheriff Court, and his case has been continued until November 28.
