Shake Shack Launches French Onion Burger Menu, Adds Fan-Requested Onion Rings Nationwide

Shake Shack has launched a fall 2025 French Onion Menu featuring three new burgers inspired by the classic French onion soup, including the French Onion Soup Burger, French Onion ‘Shroom Burger, and French Onion Shack Stack. These burgers incorporate flavors such as caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese, roasted garlic Parmesan aioli, and a crispy fried portobello mushroom for the vegetarian option. Alongside the new burgers, Shake Shack is introducing its most requested side, beer-battered onion rings, and bringing back the fan-favorite Coffee Milkshake just in time for National Coffee Day. The French Onion Menu was developed over nearly two years, with Shake Shack's culinary team layering flavors to capture the depth and indulgence of the soup in burger form. This fall lineup replaces the limited Dog Days of Summer hot dog menu and highlights the brand’s focus on comfort food with an elevated twist. The new menu items are available nationwide through the Shake Shack app and in restaurants.
