A$AP Rocky is set to co-star with Denzel Washington in Spike Lee’s neo-noir crime drama 'Highest 2 Lowest,' a reimagining of Kurosawa's 'High and Low.' Rocky found working with Washington both thrilling and challenging, especially since Washington, an avid fan of modern Memphis rap, frequently played and quoted artists like NLE Choppa on set. Rocky’s portrayal of Yung Felon, a character with legal troubles, resonated with him following his own acquittal on assault charges in February. The film will debut in theaters on August 22, with streaming availability on Apple TV+ starting September 5.
