YNW Melly Files Lawsuit for Prison Release

His attorney, Michael Pizzi Jr., claims Melly has been held in solitary confinement for nearly three years without any contact with family or legal counsel, which allegedly violates multiple amendments of the U.S. Constitution. The lawsuit describes the conditions as 'cruel and unusual,' arguing that they not only impede his mental health but also hinder his ability to prepare for his upcoming retrial scheduled for September 10, 2025.
