Qatar Airways, Air Canada Expand Americas Service

Qatar Airways is expanding its North and South American operations, increasing Toronto flights to five weekly starting June 19, 2025, with plans for daily service by winter 2025, and boosting São Paulo flights from 14 to 17 weekly beginning June 25. These moves aim to enhance global connectivity for both business and leisure travelers through Doha. In parallel, Air Canada is launching a significant winter 2025-26 expansion in Latin America, adding four new destinations and increasing seat capacity by 16%. The expansions by both airlines underscore rising demand for travel between Canada and Latin America and reflect the robust recovery of international travel. Qatar Airways continues to offer seamless links through Hamad International Airport and access to Latin America via its LATAM partnership. Both carriers are positioning themselves to meet the needs of a growing customer base and expanding intercontinental connectivity.
