Hennessey Unveils 2,031 HP Venom F5 Evolution Hypercar
Hennessey Special Vehicles has unveiled the Venom F5 Evolution, now recognized as the world's most powerful internal combustion engine production car, boasting 2,031 horsepower from its 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine developed in partnership with Ilmor Engineering. The Evolution upgrades deliver 214 more horsepower than the original F5, enabling the hypercar to accelerate from zero to 200 mph in just 10.3 seconds on E85 fuel. Beyond raw power, the Evolution features comprehensive aerodynamic enhancements—such as a redesigned front splitter, dive planes, and a Gurney lip—engineered with input from Formula 1 aerodynamicists, as well as a new adaptive suspension system with five driving modes for improved handling. Interior comfort also receives attention, with optional Touring upgrades like leather-wrapped carbon seats and additional carbon fiber trim aimed at enhancing long-distance usability. The $285,000 Evolution package is available to both new and existing owners of the Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution, with the total production limited to 99 units globally and base prices starting above $2 million. Hennessey states that customer demand for even more power and performance drove these latest advancements.
