Graham Rowntree Resigns as Munster Head Coach

Graham Rowntree has mutually agreed to leave his position as head coach of Munster Rugby following a disappointing start to the United Rugby Championship, where the team has lost three consecutive matches and won only two out of six. Rowntree, who joined Munster in 2019 as forwards coach and took the head coach role in 2022, led the team to their first trophy in 12 years in his inaugural season. Interim head coach responsibilities will be taken over by Ian Costello while the club seeks a permanent replacement.
