The Beatles Anthology Reissued With Expanded Albums, Docuseries, Book

The Beatles Anthology is being reissued in a comprehensive 2025 edition that includes remastered and expanded versions of the original three compilation albums plus a new fourth volume containing previously unreleased demos, session recordings, and new mixes of "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love." The Anthology documentary series, originally released in 1995, has been restored and remastered, with an all-new ninth episode featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr reuniting between 1994 and 1995. This expanded documentary will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting November 26, while the music collections release on November 21. Additionally, the 25th Anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book is set for reissue in October, featuring restored photos and original art. The restoration and remastering efforts involved Apple Corps' production team, Giles Martin, son of the original producer George Martin, and Peter Jackson’s collaborators, ensuring the project preserves and enhances the legacy of The Beatles for contemporary audiences. Notably, the avant-garde track "Carnival Of Light" remains excluded from the collection due to ongoing vetoes by surviving band members' estates.
