Mossad-Linked Account Claims Iran's Supreme Leader Sleeps, Uses Drugs Daily
A Mossad-linked Farsi social media account has publicly accused Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of spending most of his days sleeping or under the influence of drugs, while large parts of Iran suffer from lack of access to clean water and electricity. The account, believed to be an official Israeli intelligence messaging channel, has used provocative and satirical posts to criticize Tehran's leadership and expose information about Iran's military command, such as revealing the identity of the new commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters despite Tehran's decision to keep it secret. Intelligence experts have confirmed the authenticity of the account, describing it as a new form of psychological and informational warfare targeting Iranian audiences disillusioned with their regime. Claims about Khamenei's drug use have surfaced before, including allegations that he obtains drugs from a guarded village controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, though Khamenei publicly condemns drug use. The Mossad-linked account has advised Iranians to use VPNs for security when interacting with it and continues to engage in messaging aimed at undermining the Iranian regime's credibility and control. These developments illustrate an intensification of information warfare amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran.
