18-Year-Old Arrested After Stolen Car Crashes Into South Side Maxwell Street Grill

Early Friday morning, an 18-year-old driver crashed a stolen black Mazda sedan into the side of Maxwell Street Grill in the South Chicago neighborhood. The vehicle overturned, damaging the restaurant's exterior and knocking down a light pole and a fence. The driver was injured and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition and is currently in custody with charges pending.
